Char Dham Yatra (12 Days / 11 Nights) Itinerary
🛕 Destinations Covered: Haridwar – Yamunotri – Gangotri – Kedarnath – Badrinath – Rishikesh
🚗 Ideal Time for Travel:

Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar & Local Sightseeing
Arrive in Haridwar (via train/flight to Delhi or Dehradun).
Check-in at the hotel and relax.
Visit:
✅ Har Ki Pauri Ganga Aarti – A divine experience by the holy Ganges.
✅ Mansa Devi & Chandi Devi Temples (via ropeway).
✅ Shantikunj & Bharat Mata Mandir.
Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 2: Haridwar – Barkot (Approx. 7-8 Hrs Drive)
After breakfast, drive to Barkot, the gateway to Yamunotri.
En route, visit Kempty Falls in Mussoorie (optional).
Check-in at the hotel and relax.
Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 3: Yamunotri Dham Visit (5 Km Trek) 🏔️
Early morning drive to Janki Chatti, the base point for Yamunotri.
Trek (or hire a pony/doli) for 5 km to reach Yamunotri Temple.
✅ Darshan of Yamunotri Ji & Surya Kund hot springs.
✅ Take a dip in the holy waters & perform puja.
Return trek to Janki Chatti & drive back to Barkot.
Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi (Approx. 4-5 Hrs Drive) 🏕️
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, the town of Lord Shiva.
Check-in at the hotel and relax.
Visit:
✅ Kashi Vishwanath Temple – Dedicated to Lord Shiva.
✅ Shakti Temple – Famous for its 6-meter trident.
Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 5: Gangotri Dham Visit (100 Km Drive) 🛕
Early morning drive to Gangotri, the origin of the River Ganga.
Visit:
✅ Gangotri Temple – Take blessings & perform rituals.
✅ Bhagirath Shila & Surya Kund.
Enjoy the serene views of the Bhagirathi River & Himalayas.
Drive back to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.

Day 6: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (Approx. 7-8 Hrs Drive) ⛰️
After breakfast, drive to Guptkashi, a town near Kedarnath.
Visit:
✅ Ardh Narishwar Temple & Vishwanath Temple.
Check-in at the hotel and relax.
Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 7: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (Helicopter/Trek Option) 🏔️
Drive to Gaurikund, the base for Kedarnath Trek.
Options to reach Kedarnath Temple:
✅ Trek (16 km, 6-8 hours) 🚶‍♂️ OR
✅ Take a Helicopter from Phata/Sersi 🚁 (Advance booking required).
Reach Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
Attend the evening aarti at the temple.
Overnight stay in Kedarnath (basic accommodation).

Day 8: Kedarnath – Guptkashi
Early morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple.
Trek or helicopter back to Guptkashi.
Rest & relax after the divine journey.
Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 9: Guptkashi – Badrinath (Approx. 7-8 Hrs Drive) 🛕
Drive to Badrinath, the final Dham of the Yatra.
En route, visit:
✅ Joshimath & Narsingh Temple.
✅ Vishnuprayag (confluence of Alaknanda & Dhauliganga rivers).
Check-in at the hotel and relax.
Attend the evening aarti at Badrinath Temple.
Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 10: Badrinath Darshan & Mana Village Visit
Early morning Badrinath Temple Darshan & Tapt Kund holy dip.
Visit:
✅ Mana Village – The last village of India.
✅ Vyas Gufa, Bheem Pul & Saraswati River.
Drive to Rudraprayag for an overnight stay.

Day 11: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh (Approx. 6-7 Hrs Drive) 🏞️ Visit Devprayag, the sacred confluence of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda rivers (forms the Ganges).
Drive to Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the World.
Visit:
✅ Lakshman Jhula & Ram Jhula.
✅ Parmarth Niketan Ashram & Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat.
Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 12: Rishikesh – Haridwar – Departure 🚗
After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar / Delhi / Dehradun for departure.
